Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for processing and protecting personal data provided by Users in connection with the use of the gentlemen-krakow.pl website (the "Website").

§ 2. Purposes and Legal Bases of Data Processing

Users’ personal data is processed for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:

• To fulfil an order for a gift voucher (first and last name, e-mail address, telephone number, delivery data) - the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (necessity for performance of a contract).
• To handle the payment process - the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (necessity for performance of a contract).
• To handle complaints or withdrawal from the agreement - the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation imposed on the controller).
• For analytical and statistical purposes, involving analysis of Users’ activity on the Website to improve its functionality - the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (the Controller’s legitimate interest).

§ 3. Data Recipients

To properly provide services, the Controller may transfer Users’ personal data to the following entities:

• PayU S.A. - to handle and process payments.
• InPost S.A. - to deliver the physical gift voucher.
• Hosting service providers who store data on the server.

All entities entrusted with data processing guarantee the use of appropriate personal data protection and security measures required by law.

§ 4. Rights of Data Subjects

In connection with personal data processing, the User has the following rights:

1. Right of access to their data and to receive a copy.
2. Right to rectify (correct) their data.
3. Right to delete data (the so-called "right to be forgotten").
4. Right to restrict processing of data.
5. Right to data portability.
6. Right to object to data processing.
7. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, i.e. the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw).

§ 5. Data Storage Period

Personal data will be stored for the period necessary to perform the agreement (redeem the voucher), and after that for the period required by law (for example tax and accounting regulations) or until any claims become time-barred.

§ 6. Cookies

1. The Website uses cookies, i.e. small text information stored on the User’s end device (for example a computer, tablet or smartphone).
2. Cookies are used only to ensure the correct operation of the Website, for example maintaining sessions and handling the order form. The Website does not use external analytical or marketing tools (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel).
3. The User may manage cookies from the web browser, including blocking them completely. However, disabling cookies may affect some Website elements, including the ability to place an order.

§ 7. Data Security

The Controller declares that it applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of processed personal data, in particular protecting data against disclosure to unauthorised persons, loss or damage. The Website uses an encrypted SSL connection, which protects data sent in forms.

§ 8. Final Provisions

The Controller reserves the right to introduce changes to this Privacy Policy. The current version of the Privacy Policy is always available on the Website. All changes take effect on the date of publication.
